    Annapurna base camp trek

This trek was amazing - the company was far beyond excellent with communication prior to the trek - and they surprised us multiple times with extra things which made it fabulous - our guide was amazing and so were the porters - they joined in on our card games - walked and talked with us - answered any question we had - made us laugh all the way to base camp and back again - and then we had a beautiful dinner with them on our last night trekking and in Kathmandu - accomodation was superb- and the weather was great - thank you again Outfitter for this amazing holiday and I would recommend you in many years to come to anyone thinking about trekking ☺️

    I met superhumans in Nepal

I met superhumans in Nepal. Not one but two and all in one shiny morning. It was 8.30 am local time when I reached the viewing point of Mardi Himal, 4200m above sea level. I missed the opportunity to see the sunrise from the viewing point by two hours. Nevertheless. the spectacular vista at the viewing point still made the four hours of non-stop ascending the best reward of the trip. To regain energy I decided to enter a little shack about the average person's height to grab a cup of tea or coffee. My jaw dropped when I looked at the face of the barista, the same person who cooked my dinner last night! I was told that he started ascending to the viewing point as early as 4 am, half an hour earlier than us and had boiling water ready to make coffee or tea before sunrise at 6.30 am. He is in his mid-60s and stands 1.8m tall with Kenny Rogers' style of hair n beard. He was smiling and rolling on the snow covering the ground posting various hilarious positions for the porter to take photos in front of the shack. I felt weird watching it as others told me he had experienced HAS halfway on the journey. No, he is not the superhuman I want to talk about. I turned around and searched for the second superhuman in the vast whiteness. Within minutes, I found Mr Hom Khadka, our chief guide of the trip and the guardian angel of Kenny Rogers in the final and most strenuous part of this hike. enny Rogers' wife had quit halfway and left the care of K R who had shown signs of HAS but still insisted on finishing the last leg of the hike entirely at the hand of Mr Hom. I was convinced by Mr Hom's experience and leadership when he single-handedly guided and motivated Mr K R to reach the highest point of this hike. Against all odds, go for outfitter Nepal.

    Once in a lifetime experience

ABC was my first trek in Nepal and it was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. Nakul was my guide- he was excellent and each day was perfectly mapped out. The company took care of my travel to and hotel bookings in Pokhara as well. The views up to Basecamp were unlike anything I have ever seen before and I will definitely be using Outfitter again for any future treks in Nepal!

Kanchenjunga Circuit trek (North and South Base camps)

Kanchenjunga Circuit trek (North and South Base camps) calls for endurance (about 3 weeks of trekking) but has the beauty and challenges of the AC and the EBCHP treks. At lower altitude, the trek follows along the rivers and waterfalls, crosses many beautiful forests and villages; it reminded me of the AC trek. At higher altitude, it traverses many steep mountain slopes and some landslide/falling rocks areas; crosses 3 Passes that reminded me of the EBCHP. It was both rewarding and enjoyable. The trekking experience was made more memorable with the consultative planning of the route at the Outfitter Nepal office, and the care given by their guide (Sunil) and porter (Kul).Sunil was mindful to bring apples for dessert; arranged for meat (goat, chicken, yak, pork) to go with our meals; recommended herbal and organic teas/food from the local villagers. He also set the trekking pace that was comfortable to us, being senior with some knee problems.I was especially grateful to Kul who was strong and quick action, in spite of the load he was carrying, to support me when I either almost sliped or loss my balance trekking down slope. This was my second time (Oct-Nov 2022 and Oct 2023) with Outfitter Nepal because of their quality services.

    What a beautiful trek

Outfitter Nepal is a very good organizer for trips. We can truly recommand this company. They are flexibel, organize everything very good and react very quickly with adequate answers on our emails. The Manaslu trek is a very beautiful trek, beautiful nature and kind people. We did the trip with the two of us and guide Kapil and porter Soraj. Both are flexibel, help us when necessary and fix everything on the route. But above all, they are very pleasant people, caring and we had a good laugh (Kapil is also a good dancer). If we ever go back to Nepal we shall try to get Kapil and Soray again.

    Great service

William 70yrs Oct 2023We booked a revised Annapurna base camp trip combined with Mardi Himal, rafting and Chitwan. The service from NG and Raj was fantastic from the time of picking up from the Airport to dropping us back. We booked all the trip from New Zealand before we left and everything fitted together well with no surprises. Our Guide and Porter were helpful, even modifying our trip slightly to suit us and the weather. We were 70 and 69 years old but managed the trip OK. We enjoyed the experience of meeting Nepalese people, the mountain dogs, other trekkers and getting some understanding of the hard life some locals have to endure. All in all a great trip and we would highly recommend using Outfitters Nepal for trips.
