Your Extraordinary journey begins in the scenic lakeside city of Pokhara. After enjoying an early morning breakfast, a private vehicle will pick you up from your Hotel. We will briefly stop at Birethani to collect our trekking permit and resume our journey to Siwai. Upon our arrival, we prepare ourselves to hike; the trail ahead passes through sparkling waterfalls, picturesque suspension bridges, and alpine meadows. As you get closer to our destination for today, you will start to witness breathtaking views of the snowcapped mountains. Chhomrong is a Gurung village where we will enjoy the hospitality of the local people. We will spend the night at a local tea house and reward ourself with a home-cooked traditional Nepalese cuisine.

You start the day with a delicious breakfast and a cup of fresh beverage, followed by a glorious sunrise over the mountains. Afterward, we resume our 5-day ABC trek, walking on the stone paved path alongside a beautiful river. Soon we will approach a suspension bridge leading us to the opposite side where we ascend in stone staircases for another two hours. This will bring us to Sinuwa, where we will have a short lunch break. The second portion of the TrekTrek today will take us through quiet oak, bamboo, and rhododendron forests. Eventually, we will come across small village settlements named Dovan and Bamboo. From here, we will continue our ascent a little further and arrive at Himalaya, our destination for today.

Today is the best part of the Annapurna Base Camp trek; you will be visiting not one but two of the best mountaineering base camps in Nepal. We start our TrekTrek early and begin a slow and gradual ascent. After a few hours of hiking, you will finally arrive at Machapuchare Base Camp, which sits at 3,700m. You can enjoy beautiful views of Gangapurna, Machapuchare, and the entire Annapurna massif from here. After a short break at the base camp, we will resume our TrekTrek across the dry moraine and make the final push to Annapurna Base Camp. Located at 4,130m, it represents the highest point of the TrekTrek. The views here are sublime; the player flags will be waving with the wind, and trekkers will celebrate their achievements. The panoramic vista from the Annapurna Base Camp is truly breathtaking. You will spend the night at camp enjoying the wonderful view of the open sky and the surrounding mountains.

You might think their won't be any highlights left to surprise you, but you will be awestruck when you witness the golden rays of sunrise rising over the south face of Annapurna-I. We will enjoy the morning view with a hearty breakfast and a cup of hot beverage. When you are finally ready to move on from the Annapurna Base Camp, we will retrace our step back to Bamboo and Sinuwa. As you pass through beautiful villages and alpine valleys, you will have a new perspective when traveling in reverse. The hike will also be compartaively easier as you descend most of the trail.

You will continue to retrace your step back through winding trails alongside scenic terraced fields, and familiar villages of chhomrong. Further along the TrekTrek, we will briefly detour to the natural hot springs at Jhinu Danda. This is a fantastic spot to relax and let the steaming hot water melt away the stress from your body. After refreshing ourselves, we will pack our belongings and head towards Siwai. After our arrival, we will hop on a private jeep back to Pokhara. In the lake city, you will check in the Hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Later in the evening, we will have farewell dinner with the trekking group, and share our experience and memory of the 5-day ABC trek.

Accommodation Available During the ABC Trek

Annapurna region is one of the well-established trekking routes in Nepal. There are plenty of trekking lodges and tea houses along the way. These establishments are simple yet convenient. During the 5 Days Annapurna Base Camp Trek, you will stay at the best tea houses with numerous services and facilities. The rooms normally have a twin sharing basis, consisting of a wooden bed, mattresses, blankets, attached bathroom, and a pillow. You can also request a single room if you do not want to share the room with anyone else.

Food and Drinks

Trekking to the high-elevation region of Nepal is a fantastic experience, and you will need energy to enjoy the moment at its fullest. Transportation Services

We provide free pickup and drop services during your arrival and departure, as well as transfers from Kathmandu to Pokhara and vice versa. Thanks to the digital revolution in recent years, enjoying the Annapurna Base Camp does not mean you cannot connect with the rest of the world. You can have access to the internet through limited options. Most tea houses along the TrekTrek provide Wi-Fi for an additional charge. You must also keep in mind that the internet speed is not what you might expect so only prioritize important tasks and essential communications. On the other hand, you can also data services using a SIM card. However, you might not get reception in a few remote places along the TrekTrek.

Currency and ATM

You can withdraw money from your account via ATMs in Kathmandu and Pokhara. But, we do not advise you to rely on them because they tend to run out of money or have issues with he internet connectivity. On the other hand, you can exchange your currency in exchange offices spread across the tourist areas of Nepal. If you are desperate along the TrekTrek, you can exchange your currency at local tea houses and lodges at a poor rate. But, we do not encourage this practice, make sure you have adequate money for the TrekTrek before the start of your journey in the Himalayas.

Tipping

Tipping is a normal culture in the tourism industry of Nepal. It is a means to express gratitude for the services provided by the Guides and Porters. Tipping is expected and is regarded as an excellent way to show appreciation for the hospitality provided by our staff members. Besides, you can also consider giving some of the items you might have purchased for the TrekTrek, which you might not need anymore in your daily life.

Visa, Arrival at the airport (suggestion)

Travelling to Nepal is significantly easier than to other tourist destinations in the world. Nationals from India and China do not need a visa when they are planning to visit Nepal. On the other hand, you can get your visa on arrival at the Tribhuvan International airport at a specific charge. For a 30-day stay in Nepal, you will be charged USD 40.
