As you fly into Kathmandu on a clear day, the views of snow-capped mountain peaks spread down below you are almost breathtaking, this begins a memorable experience that stays with you for a long time.

An escort from our office will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel, at the hotel you will be briefed about your daily activities and our first overnight in the ancient valley of Kathmandu with the most temples in the world.

After your b/fast, we take you for s/seeing tour of some of Nepal’s most historic sites; the Kathmandu is the cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its borders to visitors, the city is an interesting combination of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence in the Valley, we will take to tour around Kathmandu Durbar Squire, Monkey Temple, biggest Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath, the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal Boudhanath.

All of these monuments are UNESCO declared World Heritage sites and your tour will be accompanied by a professional licensed guide and return to hotel and you will have little free time to shop your trekking hear if you need.

We start our lovely scenic journey about 7 AM in the morning after having early breakfast at hotel in Kathmandu, driving along the Trisuli River by following Prithvi High way to Pokhara & then continue to Beni.

After having breakfast at camp, we start our trek from Beni, you strike out west along the north bank of the Myagdi Khola through several small villages, you then cross two bridges near the village of Simalchour, and head back to the north bank from where it continues to the village of Babiyachaur, today, we pass through cultivated fields, lively villages, suspension bridges & then follow the path at Myagdi Khola to Babiyachaur.

We start our trek after having breakfast at our camp, and today, we cross the river to the west of Myagdi Khola and will head north to Phedi, the trail is fairly level and we pass the village of Shahashradhara, cross the Duk Khola and walking through green grassy fields arrive at Ratorunga, from here the valley narrows again and the trail continues to the large village of Dharapani.

After having hot breakfast at camp, we start our trek by descending and walking through villages, we go over a suspension bridge across the river when the trail leads uphill; the gentle ascending path continues through villages, sparse forest and terraces till you reach another ridge, you then trek gently along over a straight trail until you reach Muri and this is a small village inhabited by the simple Magar community, you will get a glimpse of Manapathi peak and the whole Dhaulagiri range etc and stay overnight at camp in Muri.

We start our trek after having breakfast at camp by descending a gentle slope, and cross a rocky stream, we come to a path amid terraced fields to Dhora khola, cross the river and climb to the right up the mountainside to Ghorban Dhara, the view from this pass is fine, for the first time we will see Ghustung south (6465m).

Follow the right bank path past Naura where we begin to ascend the mountainside, after climbing for a short while, we take a path that traverses the steep grass-covered hill, the Myagdi khola assumes a steep-walled V-shape as the traverse ends and a high, winding path climbs the steep, grassy slope, the steep slope will not tolerate any missteps but the path is well-constructed with a great number of zigzag stone step paths. At last the long climb ends, and we enter a traverse to the right - here we must also beware of falling into the gorge of the Myagdi khola, soon we descend through a forested area, emerging to a ridge snout where Baghara (2050) is visible.

After having breakfast at lodge, we start our trek, today, we leave the villages behind and the trial becomes increasingly challenging passing through ups and downs, in about 5 hours we arrive at our destination at Dobang.

After having breakfast at lodge, we start our trek and the early part of the gentle ascending trail moves through forest of bamboo, pine trees and rhododendrons, after gently trekking for some hours in which the route goes uphill and downhill respectively, you reach Sallaghari and this becomes our camping spot in between forest surrounded by pine trees at the bank of Myagdi River.

After having breakfast at camp, we start our trek and today we will reach the Italian Base Camp where we will camp just in front of the West wall of the massive Dhaulagiri, passing through beautiful flower laden forest we rapidly gain altitude and mountains burst out all around, It’s spectacular hereabouts.

Today is our acclimatization or rest day at this base camp and we will explore around and adjust with the altitude, the trail is covered by bamboo forest all the way to Italian Base Camp. At some points you cross small bridges and jungles and this makes the trail quite strenuous and difficult and there is an open field at Italian Base Camp.]

There are two small tea houses available hereabouts that provide a minimal supply of trekkers items. At this base camp, you experience breathtaking views of Dhaulagiri range, Manapathi peak, Dhaulagiri II among other unnamed peaks and mountains.

After having breakfast at camp, we start our trek and after crossing the first glacier, probably using ropes in a couple of tricky spots, we climb onto the main glacier, the surroundings are spectacular which makes up for the rough and dangerous trail, we will also use a rope on this section, this is a particularly tough day where the going get tough & the tough get going.

After having breakfast at camp, we start our trek and after starting our wild journey today, soon the rough rubble gives way to the smooth ice of the white part of the glacier, we will climb steadily to the rough and chilling but spectacular Dhaulagiri Base Camp. The views from here are literally stunning, could stop your breath for a few seconds.

Another day to take some rest and more importantly, acclimatize to the lower air pressure and the views from this place are superb and there is plenty to explore around.

After having breakfast at camp, we start our trek and today, getting off the glacier above the base camp often requires rope climbing. Once over the steep moraine walls we reach gentler, less strenuous terrain that gives our legs & bodies a kind of rest and after a breathless climb to the top of French Col (5360m,) the views of Hidden Valley open out, the broad valley is reminiscent of Tibet and Ladakh and so are the temperatures (at least -20ºC at night). The views down here take you to another world & stir the imaginations.

After having breakfast at camp, we start our trek and we pass through avalanche-prone slopes and then take on the steep descent to Yak Kharka, this day we trek through bare land for some distance as well.

We start our trek after having breakfast at camp and today, more steep descents lead us to Marpha.

After having breakfast Marpha, We take bus/jeep drive to Pokhara.

We take a tourist bus at 7 AM to drive to Kathmandu and the drive will be fantastic along many satellite towns on the way. And we are able to see healthy settlements, Rivers, terraces and landscapes, after 6 hours driving we will arrive at Kathmandu, Fare well dinner in the evening.

Down here at OUTFITTER NEPAL, we’d like you to know that meeting you has been such a lovely experience & we do hope the relationship developed will last down the years for a long time to come.
