The Langtang Tamang Heritage Trek starts with a scenic jeep drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. On the third day of the trek, we go to Gatlang, hiking on trails surrounded by gorgeous terraced fields. Along the way, we can take a short detour to Tamang monastery and explore the sacred Parvati Kunda Lake. After spending the night at a teahouse in Gatlang, we will head to Tatopani, where you can relax in natural hot springs. The local legends say that these springs have healing powers. Take advantage of the opportunity to soak yourself in the rejuvenating waters to calm your mind, body, and soul. The hike resumes, and the trails lead us to Thuman, known for its fantastic views and beautiful grasslands. After leaving Thuman, we follow the old route to Tibet and reach Briddim, which lies just three miles away from the border of Tibet. The village of Briddim features a close-knit community, allowing you to experience the culture and traditions of the Tamang people.
