    Outstanding trip to EBC

My son and I just recently completed the 12-day Everest Base Camp Trek commencing in Kathmandu. There were some difficulties with the flight so NG put us on a helicopter instead for the trip to Lukla for a minor additional cost which was well worth it as my son absolutely enjoyed that ride. Our guide was Sanjaya and our Porter was Bala. I have nothing but the best to say about both of them Sanjay was an amazing guide he took care of us from start to finish, looked after us and organized everything at the tea houses for accommodation and meals and route. Bala was an amazing young man who somehow managed to carry his duffle and ours and always arrive well in advance for ourselves at the destination for the day. In terms of overall coordination with the company Raj and NG were extremely prompt in replying to any questions that we had and I found them top notch in terms of providing assistance information guidance etc. Much to our surprise we received a beautiful completion plaque at the end when we had our final get together dinner, which was simply icing on the cake. Again I have nothing but the very best to say and great recommendations for working with this company, they organized everything from start to finish smoothly seamlessly and with no hitches.

How to combine ages of 84, 79, and 24 on an epic adventure

After reading "Seven Years in Tibet" the grandfather of our group of three searched for a company that would combine Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet as a complete adventure package. Outfitter Nepal designed the perfect trip to do so. We started in Kathmandu which had its pros and cons: pros - super and attentive guides and drivers, a great hotel with good food, and above all an overwhelming variety of learning opportunities for both the Hindu and Buddhist philosophies and histories. Cons - air pollution, noise, traffic, and most roads under construction. We much preferred Pokhara and Chitwan in Nepal. The former is beautiful and we arranged to zip line in the Himalayans. (Our granddaughter also bungee jumped there.) Chitwan was hot, but provided so many opportunities for photos of animals, too many one-horned rhinos to count. From Nepal we went to Bhutan which was so memorable for the Tiger's Nest which we all climbed - the grandmother with much help from Karma, our driver. Tibet also provided an amazing climb opportunity in the Potala Palace. We are still in communication with Outfitternepal staff who feel like family to us. Highly recommended by the three of us.

    Absolutely Fantastic!

What an absolutely fantastic team of people! From the moment you land to the day you leave you are completely taken care of in every way. You literally don’t have to worry about a thing… transport, flights, food, accommodation everything is incredibly well organised. We were very lucky to have a Hom as our guide with over 25yrs of experience we knew we were in incredibly knowledgeable and safe hands. The porters were fantastic always friendly and helpful… the entire team was always looking out for you.We had a case of altitude sickness in our team and unfortunately descending to a lower altitude was necessary. Hom made an extra 4 hour round trip (in addition to the 6 hour day already planned) to make sure our team member was safely down at the required altitude. Hom arranged and paid for new accommodation and food then returned to the group. Everything was perfectly done.Travel with Outfitter with extreme confidence, from the management team to the guide to the porters these guys are Legends :)Thank you for an amazing experience guys! Hopefully we’ll meet again one day.

    Excellent Experience

From the moment I started communicating with Outfitter Nepal (ON), I have been very pleased with the timing of their response and information they provide. Their price was great and it included a guide (Sanjay) and two porters for our group of four. This was a personal group of just friends from Texas doing the EBC trek and NN was able to accommodate our group without grouping us with strangers from all over the world. From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu, Sanjay was waiting for us at the airport and took us to the hotel. ON arranged our flight to Lukla and we were off from there. I would say this was an excellent experience with Outfitter Nepal and if/when we book another expedition, I won’t even look for another outfitter because ON took such great care of us. After the trek was over they presented us with plaques for our achievement and a farewell dinner. This is a 5-star company and their staff is great. We will always remember the great time we had and how well we were taken care of.

Embarking on a two-week odyssey of EBC Chola Pass Trek

Embarking on a two-week odyssey through the majestic Himalayas to iconic destinations like Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Lakes, Kala Pattar, and Chola Pass is a dream for many adventurers. However, it was Bala who transformed this dream into an extraordinary reality for us.

Bala was not just a guide; he was the embodiment of expertise, empathy, and unwavering support. Amidst the rugged terrain and unpredictable conditions, he seamlessly juggled roles, from guide to cheerleader, therapist to travel agent, and everything in between. His deep knowledge of the mountains ensured our safety at every step, while his reassuring presence turned challenges into triumphs.

What truly sets Bala apart is his ability to foster a sense of camaraderie and respect among all who crossed our path. Whether it was collaborating with fellow guides or supporting the tireless porters like Sabin, Bala's leadership was both exemplary and inspiring. Sabin, with his infectious smile and unparalleled strength, carried our burdens with grace, adding an extra layer of joy to our journey.

Raj, was incredible behind the scenes of Outfitters, ensured flawless pre-planning, setting the stage for our Himalayan adventure. Together, Bala, Sabin, Raj, and the entire team crafted an experience that transcended mere travel; it became a transformative journey of self-discovery and resilience.

    The most epic adventure!

My family and I did the Annapurna Base Camp Trek and we could not have asked for a more fantastic trip. Everything was organised perfectly; from the moment we landed in Kathmandu until our final farewell dinner with the crew. Our guide, Bala and his team of porters were so lovely and accommodating, without them, we would have been screwed! Outfitter Nepal made our trip sensational. We couldn't have asked for a better team! Thank you so much to Bala and our Porters for an unforgettable experience.

    Annapurna base camp trek

This trek was amazing - the company was far beyond excellent with communication prior to the trek - and they surprised us multiple times with extra things which made it fabulous - our guide was amazing and so were the porters - they joined in on our card games - walked and talked with us - answered any question we had - made us laugh all the way to base camp and back again - and then we had a beautiful dinner with them on our last night trekking and in Kathmandu - accomodation was superb- and the weather was great - thank you again Outfitter for this amazing holiday and I would recommend you in many years to come to anyone thinking about trekking ☺️

    I met superhumans in Nepal

I met superhumans in Nepal. Not one but two and all in one shiny morning. It was 8.30 am local time when I reached the viewing point of Mardi Himal, 4200m above sea level. I missed the opportunity to see the sunrise from the viewing point by two hours. Nevertheless. the spectacular vista at the viewing point still made the four hours of non-stop ascending the best reward of the trip. To regain energy I decided to enter a little shack about the average person's height to grab a cup of tea or coffee. My jaw dropped when I looked at the face of the barista, the same person who cooked my dinner last night! I was told that he started ascending to the viewing point as early as 4 am, half an hour earlier than us and had boiling water ready to make coffee or tea before sunrise at 6.30 am. He is in his mid-60s and stands 1.8m tall with Kenny Rogers' style of hair n beard. He was smiling and rolling on the snow covering the ground posting various hilarious positions for the porter to take photos in front of the shack. I felt weird watching it as others told me he had experienced HAS halfway on the journey. No, he is not the superhuman I want to talk about. I turned around and searched for the second superhuman in the vast whiteness. Within minutes, I found Mr Hom Khadka, our chief guide of the trip and the guardian angel of Kenny Rogers in the final and most strenuous part of this hike. enny Rogers' wife had quit halfway and left the care of K R who had shown signs of HAS but still insisted on finishing the last leg of the hike entirely at the hand of Mr Hom. I was convinced by Mr Hom's experience and leadership when he single-handedly guided and motivated Mr K R to reach the highest point of this hike. Against all odds, go for outfitter Nepal.
