ItineraryTrip day to day detail itinerary

When flying into Kathmandu on a clear day, the views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawl down below you & are almost breathtaking, beginning a whole link of memorable experiences that stay with you for a real, long time.

Our escort and driver from our office will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Our representative will help you check into your designated hotel then you will be briefed about your daily program. This is your first overnight in the valley of the gods.

After having breakfast at hotel, we will take your sightseeing tour in Kathmandu about 9:00 am and the Kathmandu is historical heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors.

The city presents an interesting holy mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and western influence in the valley. There will be a day guided tour to the famous and biggest Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath, the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal Boudhanath, and Swoyambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Squire, all of them are UNESCO recognized World Heritage sites, return to hotel and you will have some time to buy trekking gear if you.

After having early breakfast at hotel in Kathmandu, we start our drive and the drive from Kathmandu with some mountain views takes you towards the Tibetan Border, after about 3 hours you get up to a town called Balephi where you turn off the main road, It is good road up to Balephi and after Balephi it takes about another 3 hours of rough road to Chanaute, depending on road conditions the group may have to walk for an hour or so to get there, the Chanaute is a small Brahmin and Chhettri village and we will camp by the school there.

After having hot breakfast at our camp, we start our trek and It is about six hour walk to Khani Gaon and most of the day, we will ascend steeply on small walking trails, stopping for welcome rests and to enjoy the beautiful views and we will be passing through villages, stunningly terraced fields, streams and a local school, the Khani Gaon is a Newari Village, Khani mean “source of Mines” and Gaon means “Village” so, It was founded after the battle between Gorkha and Bhaktapur in the middle of 18th B.S, when the people of Bhaktapur fled to this site.

we start our trek after having breakfast at our camp and today you ascend steeply through beautiful Rhododendron forest and the occasional grazing pasture, where we can see nomad houses for cattle and If we are lucky, we will also see wild animals (bears and leopards do live up here!) and birds.

After having breakfast at camp, we start our trek and continue our ascent through Pine and Rhododendron forest for about 4 hours, when we reach Pati, we can see some of the houses made by pilgrims, and also a nice mountain view.

Today, we rest to let your body adjust to the altitude, ready for your next ascent tomorrow.

After having breakfast at camp, we start our trek and today, it is around one hours uphill walk and then level walking for about two and a half hours to Bhairav Kunda, the Bhairav Kunda is 4150m high and there is a big holy lake and a small temple of lord Shiva. “Bhairav” is the destructive form of Lord Shiva and Kunda means “Lake” and once in a year in June/July pilgrims from different parts of Nepal come to take holy baths and worship.

We have an early morning walk up hill for about one and a half hours to the top to see the sun rise and mountain view of Langtang, Jugal Himal Range, Rolwaling Range and Tibetan Range and return to Camp and have breakfast and trek steeply down for about 6 hours through forest to Sherpa village.

After having breakfast at camp, we stat our trek and today is the last day of trekking has a steep downhill for about 3 and a half hours to the bank of the Bhote Koshi River at a place called Larche, we will have lunch and then drive back to Kathmandu, which takes around six hours and check into the hotel.
