For the convenience of our valued travelers, we would like to inform you that the domestic flights to Lukla from Kathmandu are diverted to Ramechhap Airport, Manthali. This flight pattern is maintained during the trekking months of April, and May, October, and November. Thus, if you plan to visit the Everest region during this time of the year, we must re-route our travel plan. To reach Lukla, we will drive for 5 hours to Manthali from Kathmandu. From here, we will board a flight to the Tenzing Hillary Airport, Lukla. Also, please be aware that the flight to Lukla solely depends on the Civil Authority in Nepal and the airline company. These two entities decide whether a flight should be canceled or delayed due to weather conditions, natural disasters, and air traffic congestion.
