These ATMs come with withdrawal limits, and services are unavailable above Tengboche. We recommend you withdraw sufficient cash in Lukla or Namche Bazar or bring enough money from Kathmandu before the trek. On the other hand, currency exchange services are also available in Lukla and Namche Bazar, allowing you to exchange foreign currency for Nepalese rupees. However, exchange rates might be less favorable as they are costly, so we recommend you withdraw the required amount before the trek.
